  68 Hmm. I tried to duplicate your situation here, and it works for me. Two\r
  69 things to try:\r

  71 1) notmuch search --output=3Dfiles $QUERY\r

  73 where $QUERY is some query (using e.g. id:) that matches one of those\r
  74 messages. Check that you have have the whole anchored path from the top\r
  75 level.\r

  77 2) NOTMUCH_DEBUG_QUERY=3D1 notmuch count -'folder:"Deleted Items"'\r

  79 have a look for XFOLDER:Deleted Items\r

  81 3) try both of the above with "--exclude=3Dfalse" in case you have tagged\r
  82 them with an excluded tag.  Note that by default "deleted" is such a tag.\r
  83 You can change the excluded tags with "notmuch config"\r
