  66 this sitting around since we last talked about it, and I've just cleaned\r
  67 it up and pushed it out now.\r

  69 It turns out that VPATH itself isn't very useful, (since it matches on\r
  70 targets as well as prerequisites), but the similar "vpath" directive\r
  71 matches only on prerequisites so it does what we want here.\r

  73 So non-source-directory builds of notmuch should work now. Along the\r

  90 does an install and perhaps checks that no extra files are leftover\r
  91 after "make clean"? Something like that anyway---and we should probably\r
  92 do something similar.\r
