2 directions: 'Preheat oven to 375F. Arrange bread slices on 2 heavy large baking
3 sheets. Brush olive oil over the bread slices. Bake until the crostini are pale
4 golden and crisp, about 15 min.
7 Blend the goat cheese and cream cheese in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Add
8 the parsley, thyme, and lemon peel. Pulse just to blend. Season with salt and
9 pepper, to taste. Spread the cheese mixture over the crostini. Sprinkle with
10 chives and more pepper. Arrange on a platter and serve.
13 Do-ahead tip: The crostini and cheese mixture can be prepared 2 days ahead. Store
14 the crostini in an airtight container at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate
15 the cheese mixture. Let the cheese mixture stand at room temperature for 1 hour
16 to soften slightly before spreading over crostini.'
