+It has been a few months since we last had a release.\r
+\r
+I'd like to to another release within the next few weeks. To this end\r
+I'd like to take a snapshot of master next Sunday (August 12), and\r
+release that plus urgent bugfixes a week later (August 19).\r
+\r
+I realize this won't be time to get all of the interesting patches we\r
+are working on reviewed and merged in, but I don't want to fall into the\r
+trap of delaying the release indefinitely.\r
