  84 I would love to have something along these lines, especially with\r
  85 quick navigation in both the top and bottom panes.  One idea I'd been\r
  86 toying with (but have no implementation for) was to integrate Daniel\r
  87 Schoepe's two-pane thread outlining with two-pane search results: in\r
  88 the top pane, show the usual thread search results but replace the\r
  89 currently open thread in the search results with its thread outline.\r
  90 Navigating in the top pane would naturally correspond to moving\r
  91 between messages in the current thread until you reached the end (or\r
  92 beginning) of the thread, at which point it would move to the next (or\r
  93 previous) thread.  This may or may not work in practice, but it's\r
  94 something to consider.\r
