As a bit of a followup... I wasn't able to reproduce this on a different FreeBSD 8.0 system, so I think my workstation must be subtly broken, which is lame. And, if I set synchronize_flags=false in my ~/.notmuch-config, I don't get this error on my workstation, either. -- Mike Kelly
