The recent improvements to the notmuch emacs mode look great. I have a couple of suggestions/questions about the UI that I wanted to put to the group. Here are some things that I would really like to see: * in thread view, show read messages as initially collapsed * show more header info (To:, Date: (with time), etc), or add ability to control which headers are displayed * add blank line between header and body * customize coloring of fields (in headers, or collapsed quotes/signatures/etc) * customize key bindings Is it currently possible to easily customize these things (ie. without modifying the notmuch.el)? If so, that would be great and I would love to learn how (my current elisp and emacs customization skills are pretty weak). If not, I would like to strongly petition for either changing these things, or making it possible for users to customize them themselves. In general, I think it would be really good to put together some documentation about all the ways that users can customize the notmuch interface. I would be willing to help with that as well. It would also be nice to allow for customization about of things that are currently not that might be controversial. Thanks so much for the help. jamie. --OgqxwSJOaUobr8KG Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJLGU5pAAoJEO00zqvie6q8c1cP/1P4GdpgrqeXYJniRzuvRM9n i4NfW62pR2KmDFIH00EuYNxws09j93ZaFs0knzHy5dB1DX+enj5sbTrvW0dXTXcY U9iXCGLavNM1qIffEWCZneRjUu19RzXHzvtArs3L59pt43YJ/deScPCTci0p8+IO Aj+VkPTRfpOQIpO1Rw90QS13LQXhTvLdWtsmqOGMSXQUXu8MOsmq+48pkdIXt15r hey+S5MPdy2xapA60bZYQyxQIrENvyi1WfFvnQMKJhQGQrZEBrXH3zYr3xzet6hd 7xqex0PQ/rgNcTvxhT8NGTbMVYjktS760a5SFG7XaQEX6cn9tBZA6V85N0tb14HL SrDg0E1f37TxrjZXZ4zyqi0ynnrOHtooLLqIcZl8U1WDFLmFltGGudfdvn9EANha b8kyvDAHjxrfq1QRgxKBIYSI3qvL8IJh5ly7w9acwuJDliW0+MJHMh9D7RuehcMi zCd72wwe+N1vUMQ+LX+JMBgBkPq562x5fwaxu7uTMleNQ8hVg8SOGiLiqk9h56pn 5jRLKbiFOsnU3aILeBNbPe1oQPzHBPMShuJOx5MZ8nzwtS8tZ07XO8pQKnS8AauG pvijij6ebBUbfP8KUw3s9XKY9D/ufZ6okw0r4MoJHI6y0fTY6LwfcKyRGq0ebwh/ JzBeB+Qfc1yFfXDuoWBU =Ghmg -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --OgqxwSJOaUobr8KG--
