Hi, Richard. Notmuch does not modify any messages, so it can be used in parallel with other mail agents without problem. Indexing your mail with notmuch should not affect interfacing with your mail store with any other MUA. I'm also quite sure that the notmuch emacs interface could be used in parallel with other emacs-based mail clients as well. The notmuch emacs interface manages it's own set of buffers, and I don't see any reason why you couldn't be doing your normal Rmail in one buffer, and conducting notmuch searches in another. hth. If you have any other specific questions, let us know. jamie. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.11 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJOofHeAAoJEO00zqvie6q84DgP/jmocz/K8GDNjHhIEyVEgUor //mdjO5xoa01ipb6Cms5mYMcmWw5GOx9T4QozdQP2Yya/5ZGgrAZ3F3CwVrIwzgX 8wqAv5gvCGlvti5dj6rWJpKLsl/qPL6cox91CJ7IXJymAsz5snbPAWgAFV9fYQSy PkGhoCbsRmRLYpkzSQg50D31fNTr8fEhPkpfmOziMh73OTMTgldjrXD3V3jnNBRX VOevd4r12k0RWck4bMZxFKW1ioYPPwj48mw7jXbgyhX2XgrmMCl1lEUYMNpp66FA IwFrC8Bf5e/aFdaC4uDzg1fsr5c5qZkMutmk9KfcERqWAr13WKHENjud11eCR8Q3 Ii2Rnnia5wFbCPqhHwiFBoxHV4nBpc5GVFSkNsqxbn71Llq/J6EIm3XxcnRbTUTb egePvBrHYvit4l6MJM/qp+FUjJwKFksHX0vaIJw5evGi/V/5tOzwpMtoPgFetONN +/taoZI1EYguQlROZJX4EEz3SbIVZsiI0Q86b9fX8LG/pT8K13CHmnXqFHq5yqIL oiK2epIQL2hEiSojgje0gmOaJ3uVmgeL2L3pLQUBvvklfM0XTGKvybUX9xwxDwsW mXfemg2TXFVQLJwnaRaILGgbZagF34JraGkBRqtuUVCUZDkQhD/ZxpYg4222GCH2 7iQhCNbVyi7R7OR2299C =+iet -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
