The MultiMode product line has been passed through several companies
over the years.  It started out at [Digital Instruments][DI], which
was aquired by [Veeco][] in February 1998 before being passed off to
[Bruker][] in August 2010.

I've done a good deal of troubleshooting to keep our ancient MultiMode
