From 57b75603fbe15354b70405f624a1afc9fe7e4aee Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Jeffrey Altman Date: Tue, 27 Mar 2007 13:46:13 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] WIX installer stores WinLogon event handler under wrong registry value The WinLogon event handler in prior versions of the Wix installer has been installing the event handler under the registry value "KFWLogon" which happens to be the name that "OpenAFS" also uses for its Kerberos logon events. The KFW NSIS installer has used "MIT_KFW" in order to avoid the conflict. The Wix installer is being corrected to match. When there is a name collision, only one of the event handlers gets installed. As a result, Kerberos FILE ccaches get created with SYSTEM only ACLs and are never destroyed. This is the same problem that happens on Windows Vista when integrated logon is used because the event handler hooks do not exist. ticket: new tags: pullup component: windows git-svn-id: svn://anonsvn.mit.edu/krb5/trunk@19290 dc483132-0cff-0310-8789-dd5450dbe970 --- src/windows/installer/wix/files.wxi | 12 ++++++------ 1 file changed, 6 insertions(+), 6 deletions(-) diff --git a/src/windows/installer/wix/files.wxi b/src/windows/installer/wix/files.wxi index 5fc096631..e29e3d30f 100644 --- a/src/windows/installer/wix/files.wxi +++ b/src/windows/installer/wix/files.wxi @@ -29,12 +29,12 @@ - - - - - - + + + + + + -- 2.26.2
