From: Jon Loeliger Date: Tue, 5 Jun 2007 20:06:53 +0000 (-0500) Subject: Add the --numbered-files option to git-format-patch. X-Git-Tag: v1.5.3-rc0~155 X-Git-Url: http://git.tremily.us/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=e6ff0f42bb0c63515c8489c1992f37d1d1e8b2f4;p=git.git Add the --numbered-files option to git-format-patch. With this option, git-format-patch will generate simple numbered files as output instead of the default using with the first commit line appended. This simplifies the ability to generate an MH-style drafts folder with each message to be sent.
