From: Nicolas Pitre Date: Sun, 14 Jan 2007 02:23:55 +0000 (-0500) Subject: simplify the "no changes added to commit" message X-Git-Tag: v1.5.0-rc2~107 X-Git-Url: http://git.tremily.us/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=dcbc7bbe393d6bfee0ac36cc97fbc51ebf112ed6;p=git.git simplify the "no changes added to commit" message Suggesting the use of [-a|-i|-o] with git-commit is unnecessarily complex and confusing. In this context -o is totally useless and -i requires extra arguments which are not mentioned. The only sensible hint (besides reading the man page but let's not go there) is "commit -a".
