+It's been a while since we had a release. There are some ABI breaking
+ideas around, but I think it makes sense to release and then forge
+forward with those.
+
+Since I'm moving at a pretty slow pace these days on notmuch (and
+everything) I propose the following schedule:
+
+            Feature freeze: November 8
+            Hard freeze: November 22
+            Release: November 28 (approximately)
+
+Feel free to start tagging things as notmuch:0.17 in nmbug if you think
+they can be squeezed in the next few weeks.
