From: Miklos Vajna Date: Sat, 5 Jul 2008 14:43:51 +0000 (+0200) Subject: Retire 'stupid' merge strategy X-Git-Tag: v1.6.0-rc0~153 X-Git-Url: http://git.tremily.us/?a=commitdiff_plain;h=51add76e92c9de9bcad3d421303b45ab488d529e;p=git.git Retire 'stupid' merge strategy As pointed out by Linus, this strategy tries to take the best merge base, but 'recursive' just does it better. If one needs something more than 'resolve' then he/she should really use 'recursive' and not 'stupid'. Cf.
