Do not report an error to the end user for uninstalled modules. This will only annoy the user and there is probably nothing the user can do about it. Perhaps the user uninstalled the module intentionally. The fact that there is still a HKCU key remaining is not an indication that the module is in use. ticket: 5753 git-svn-id: svn://anonsvn.mit.edu/krb5/trunk@20023 dc483132-0cff-0310-8789-dd5450dbe970 --- diff --git a/src/windows/identity/kmm/kmm_registrar.c b/src/windows/identity/kmm/kmm_registrar.c index da7ab570b..75f3b782a 100644 --- a/src/windows/identity/kmm/kmm_registrar.c +++ b/src/windows/identity/kmm/kmm_registrar.c @@ -683,7 +683,11 @@ void kmmint_init_module(kmm_module_i * m) { m->path = PMALLOC(sz); khc_read_string(csp_mod, KMM_VALNAME_IMAGEPATH, m->path, &sz); } else { - _report_mr0(KHERR_ERROR, MSG_IM_NOT_REGISTERED); + /* + * If there is no image path, then the module has not been + * installed.
