Hi Carl,\r
\r

\r
I just tested it again.\r
\r
My IMAP server tree is like this:\r
\r
On 'notmuch new', it works as expected -i.e. ignoring non-mail files\r
such as index files.\r
\r
Alas, in the end it fails with an error message:\r
\r
Error opening /exter..../.dovecot.sieve.log: Permission denied\r
Internal error: add_message returned unexpected value: 4 (notmuch-new.c:448)\r
\r
I hope it will help.\r
\r
/Xavier\r
