+Bah. Sometimes mail systems suck. I finally managed to apply this after\r
+some effort. For future reference, it was still quoted printable and\r
+(even more mysteriously) something mangled the indentation of the\r
+context lines, moving them one space left; once can see this most\r
+clearly on the last two lines.\r
