Don't use \@ to print the at symbol, it doesn't work.

Note that it's not listed in the
  LaTeX2e Escapable "Special" Characters
section of the Comprehensive LaTeX Symbol List
  http://www.ctan.org/tex-archive/info/symbols/comprehensive/

We add \textat to work around this in the body text, and $@$ in the
changes text.
