Hi Could you add something saying what markup rules developers should follow when writing NEWS items? It would also make this patch easier to comment upon. As far as I can see there are 2 relatively small things: start an item with a * and put commands in backticks. (Actually it might also be worth saying how to get * and ` if you actually want them too.) I like the output at the address you gave. Thanks Mark
