Same here. As well as with Latin-1. Anyway, we seem to have a workaround here, if I just reset the language environment... But I wonder what other side-effects there may be. Still, just for comparison, Gnus managed well... but maybe because it doesn't work with UTF-8 ;-) Thanks for your help.
