As a result, notmuch-show displays the entire message as something like: [ 69-line hidden original message. Click/Enter to show. ] Seems like notmuch-show could be cleverer. how about something like this: * if the entire displayed MIME part appears to be nothing but whitespace and a "original message", then don't auto-collapse it. Alternately: * if the entire displayed MIME part appears to be nothing but whitespace and a "original message" then don't treat it as an "original message" at all, but apply the normal part-guessing and collapsing logic to the internal content of the "original message" any thoughts? --dkg
