There seems to have been a lot of discussion on the list recently about github. I just want to express my very strong agreement with Jani's sentiment above. A lot of us in the notmuch community moved to notmuch because we didn't want our email controlled by a single service provider (e.g. gmail). I don't want our development cycle controlled by github (or any other proprietary SCM) for many of the same reasons. The current notmuch development process, that's been built up over the last five years, is the most efficient and effective I've ever worked with. It's really a well-oiled machine. Newcomers (always welcome!) should give it a try before suggesting we abandon it. jamie. --=-=-= Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1 iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJTcYO/AAoJEO00zqvie6q87RUP/R74/6R31rVt5P8RWhKw18Mv hp97khTrWCi05lwxRdE/j7lfuwfaeJ9xu90Pp3aAyTFBeHipC1pioR4AGjSse1VD X491XUOKG9NmPfeCmKFiKtIiOlCTn7rYUYb5Z/QPiaG7i7Dbsgrtnd33nNWSMJKd o7MGGa7gTh+29b/MWOwME9xdC+HV3anl4GzUJok1ZEqUZakxwjsb+jSe6qin60NH 7cd8N54Hgo5hWYVe46CTOQVtSAwdoQk4JWZKqAPbFcMLtNGyud3mmARrx8OSpHcT gfsN2eE+AtegE9mSuF7HCFGMSbdTUZZSjuOdCjWlG4Ynk+PqxmN3ef6rnC25nMII 953i/N0ykPZR+CSFz/VJxktoIOvzzvB8c03Vh29ar1SP31CcF/HWh9E+yU7k4Ct3 O3VVWKFm4/Un1dCKt6474NuPHXszzoU3A805/zMyw1Z4LCdl2nqAx6VrVwVdiV1t uNReDRQqEK45xOw98sVW9zerQ26p3XZrJS4IUiorLwSGvHDjkl+glg6Inhrig1GL 3LyR8/RFTPhT0DBxUfTqO6hnOT2xY6sq1v1+r9826kldYcm6bJM6Zb4TiGwQliE7 PgTpAK7JbYHy8k1jrOKY6kCC5imq6AyPVLnszhl1yp3lqGThu3cCtfWHvdEpuzP8 OU3YXtpfrKiPBFUNYW7t =KcG6 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --=-=-=--
