   9                 Herrie is a minimalistic music player that uses the command
  10                 line. It is written to support a variety of operating systems,
  11                 audio subsystems and file formats, including playlists.

  13                 Herrie has a split-screen user interface, with a playlist at
  14                 the top of the screen and a file browser at the bottom. When
  15                 tracks are added to the playlist, Herrie consumes them from the
  16                 top one by one. It is thus an application that allows you to
  17                 batch music for playback.

  20                 for AudioScrobbler and the ability to chroot() itself
  21                 into a directory.
